Nashville, Tennessee

Jeremy had a conference/reward trip to Nashville and he had the fantastic idea for me to come along for an early 30th Birthday celebration, No Kids!!! It was sooooo much fun. We stayed at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel, which that alone was amazing, it had a river inside with a boat that took people on tours, and tons of shops and so much more that I'm sure I didn't even see. The hotel had a shuttle that took you to a huge mall, and tons of other cool sites in Tennessee.

Another shot from inside the hotel. We took tons of pictures and these are just a few.

The Country Music Hall of Fame, was amazing. Jeremy probably took 10,000 pictures in there, but just to list a few: Elvis's Gold Cadillac, Johnny Cash's long black leather jacket, Faith Hill's lovely shoes, tons of personalized cowboy boots, and much more.

This is the General Jackson Steamboat, a fun ride with dinner and a show, a huge hit with the tourists.

I couldn't get Jeremy to stand by the little one:)

The Hermitage, Andrew Jackson's Mansion, seriously one of my favorite things. When you don't have little ones to make you stay on napping schedules you really can enjoy yourself. We walked the entire thing and listened to every little audio story on our head phones. It is crazy to think about our history and see part of it that still looks just like it used to so long ago.

Another big hit is a restaurant called the Wildhorse Cafe, It has live bands playing and everyone is fantastic in Nashville, and then when the bands are on a break they teach line dancing on the dance floor, so much fun, but I couldn't get Jeremy to join me. Big Surprise:)

And we can not forget the little ones at home, and the prizes brought back for them, And I did not tell both of them to kick their knees out so fantastically, but they both did. Green and Yellow boots, a perfect prize from Nashville. Kate loves hers and wears them everywhere, swim lessons, the park, church, and much more. Not so sure mom loves how much she loves them!

Macey likes them but they are not always her first choice out of the shoe basket, since she changes her mind about 5 times before we go anywhere.
Anyway it was such a great trip/break for Jeremy and I. Well deserved for Jeremy, he even got a nice award at the dinner on the last night. Someone made a video of the night and the picture of Jeremy receiving his award slowly morphed into Mr. Incredible. His work eats that up and uses it every chance they can get, I think secretly Jeremy loves it.

Looks like FUN! Cute/fun pics too. I was laughing sooooo hard when you said you couldn't get him to stand by the little car. EVERY time I look at your blog w/ my kids around they ask me if HE is Mr. Incredible. My answer is always the same.... "what do you think?" Ha.
