My mom's side of the family (The
Arnett's) had a mini reunion in Duncan, AZ. I braved it and took both the girls by myself and lets just say it was not relaxing but tons of fun. Five of my siblings were there with
their kids and my parents so the
Krummenacher's were well represented. The reunion was held in an old ward building in
Verden, AZ and since our group was so big we got to stay in the "Hard
nock Life" room, a long room with eight beds lining both sides of the walls. I'm not going to give details but lets just say I was not a little boy and I do not have little boys, but
their feet do not smell very good at all and can consume a long rectangular room very quickly and effect your ability to sleep.
This is the first house my mom lived in, it is totally still there.......but
This is a picture of the back of that same house and it is now a barn!! Very huge pigs live inside it. It was really fun to see the highlights of Duncan, we
caravaned around and saw the schools,
cemetery, and businesses where our grandparents and great grandparents grew up.
